Envelope Stuffing Jobs |
One type of work that is easy to work from home is envelope stuffing. Envelope stuffing jobs don't require any special education and you don't need to have a computer or phone. Envelope stuffing is necessary for many businesses that send out bulk mail. The envelopes contain letters or advertising materials that need to be folded and placed into envelopes for mailing.
Many times envelope stuffing jobs are local, however, more and more of them are offered online. Here's the way envelope stuffing works. You are delivered a certain number of envelopes along with advertising materials such as brochures or letters. Your job will be to fold the materials and place them into the envelope and seal the envelope. Typically the envelopes are pre-addressed and pre-stamped. Then you simply need to either mail them out or they will be picked up.
Payment is usually made on a per envelope basis in bulk. For instance you'll be offered a flat fee to stuff 1000 envelopes. The number of envelopes you stuff in a given time frame is up to you. You can work as much or as little as you like to get the job done. Since you're paid in bulk the faster you work the more money you make per hour. If you finish quickly you can take on another batch and make more money.
There are also some envelope stuffing jobs that require you to print address labels, print letters or provide postage. Be sure that you understand your responsibilities before taking on the job. Remember that you may think you can stuff more envelopes than you really can so be realistic about your abilities. Start with a low number to see how well you do and how you like it.
While envelope stuffing can be very tedious work it does have its positive aspects. You can stuff envelopes while watching television or babysitting since it doesn't take much concentration and generally one of the easiest work from home opportunities. You can do it almost anywhere. Simply set up a table and you're ready to start. There is no special knowledge needed to do the job and it's easy to learn. If you want you can enlist help from your friends or neighbors.
Keep in mind that not all jobs that are posted are legitimate. Be wary of any job that asks you to pay money first as these are typically scams. Try the work to see how you like it before making a big commitment. Arrange in advance how you are to be paid for the envelope stuffing jobs that you provide.
